"Gracie and I get active outside every day. We help each other stay healthy.”"
When Susanna moved to Charlotte, she could count on one hand how many people she knew. After about five months, she adopted her dog Gracie, who became like a child, and more importantly like family. Susanna says “having Gracie got me out of the house to explore parts of my new home that I never would have without her.” The two go on long walks, explore local parks and restaurant patios that allow dogs. Gracie has puppy play dates with dog friends they have made over the past two years.
Susanna says Gracie has not only helped her achieve her daily step count goal, but has improved her mental health by being her family away from family.
